TikTok Audience Network Integration Guide
This guide instructs you step-by-step on how to set TikTok Audience Network live on the ironSource mediation platform.
Before You Start
- TikTok serves ads to users in China and Japan only.
Step 1. Create an TikTok Account
- To access TikTok’s ad inventory through ironSource‘s mediation platform, you must create an account with TikTok. You can do so here.
Step 2. Create an Application in TikTok
Next, you must add the app in your TikTok account.
Add Your App
- Log into your TikTok account. On your dashboard, hover the ‘Traffic management‘ and click ‘Apps’
- Add your app manually or simply select an existing app to monetize.
Step 3. Activate TikTok in Your ironSource Network Setup Module
Serving TikTok’s ads through the ironSource mediation platform has never been this easy. Sign in to your TikTok account when setting up TikTok on the ironSource SDK Networks setup page and insert all the necessary parameters to run TikTok Interstitials and Rewarded Videos!
There are parameters from your TikTok account which needs to be entered into your ironSource network setup module in order for TikTok to connect properly with ironSource:
The unique ID assigned to your user on
Key generated by TikTok for reporting API purposes
The unique ID assigned to your app on
The unique ID assigned to the ad you have created on TikTok’s dashboard.
Once you obtain this information, you must configure TikTok’s Parameters in your ironSource Account. By adding the above information correctly, you will be able to take full advantage of TikTok’s ad inventory and reporting data on the ironSource mediation platform.
Once you logged in to your TikTok account, you can find your User ID on the top-right corner of the dashboard
Once you have created an application in the TikTok’s dashboard (as described in step 2), You can find your Application ID under ‘Apps‘ (hover the ‘Traffic management‘ and click ‘Apps’).
Obtain your Application ID value from the dashboard and place it in the ironSource Network Setup Module in the “App ID” field.
Once you have created an application in the TikTok’s dashboard, you will need to include ads. Hover over ‘Traffic management‘ and click ‘Ad placements‘.
Add your Placement manually or simply select an existing placement to get its Placement ID.
Select your ad format (either Interstitial and Rewarded Video)
Complete all the required details, including choosing the dedicated application this ad is meant for.
Once you are done, obtain your Placement ID value from the ‘Ad placements‘ dashboard and place it in the ironSource Network Setup Module.
Step 4. Add the TikTok Adapter to Your Build
Unity Plugin (iOS Integration)
- Download the TikTok Unity Package:
Import the IronSourceTikTokAdapter_[version].unitypackage to your Unity project. You can find the latest TikTok Unity Package here.
- Add the TikTok files to your Unity project:
To add the adapter, simply double click on the IronSourceTikTokAdapter_[version].unitypackage and add all files to your Unity project.
Note: If you are upgrading from a previous version, please remove TikTok.x.x.x.framework from Assets/Plugins/iOS.Our Unity Plugin adds the necessary frameworks automatically to your Xcode project.
